The work produced embodies research done on self-harm as well as personal experience. It is made to convey certain emotions and feelings of a person in distress through images and textiles. The making of this work allowed me to express myself in a way I did not have a language for. I'll always be here for you let viewers put themselves in the mental state of those that go through self-harm. I'll always be here for you encourages viewers to place themselves within the mental state of those who went through self-harm. This paper includes research regarding self-harm and the process of making this body of work.
