This project develops a methodology for writing an automated application program suitable for the average smartphone user. This methodology is then used to develop an automated application program for a sample use case scenario. This project also implements a comprehensive tutorial to guide the user to set up the environment for the development. This includes mini tutorials and code snippets to introduce the user to the basics of the development tools. The project aims to equip the average smartphone user the skills and knowledge to build an automated smartphone application, empowering them to program their phones to suit their lifestyle. Further work in the future could be encouraged in the direction of including more automated use case scenarios.
