Description
Summary:Time management is a difficult skill to pick up and is often overlooked and viewed as a chore for most people. With the coming of the digital age, it is now easier than ever to keep track of records without incurring the hassle and clutter that paperwork provides. Having a time management web application solves the issue faced during the pre-digital era, reducing the amount of effort needed to acquire this skill. With this project, it aims to improve existing time management solutions and propose a new way of supervising for employers; allowing them to track their home-based employees’ progress and assigning work to them through an online portal. To increase the accessibility and user friendliness of this web application, responsive web design (RWD) is used. This enables the web application to remain user friendly on many different devices; from computers to tablets to mobile phones by altering the page layout on each device while still retaining its content. Furthermore, user experience (UX) concepts are incorporated into the application to enhance the learnability and user friendliness of the website; enabling users to easily learn the functions of the application as well as navigating through it. This report discusses in depth the features and technology used to develop this time management web application.
