One of the most significant uses, however, is probably the cameras in public areas for security, surveillance, and law enforcement purposes. The specific objective of use can vary, from identifying snatch thieves to identifying owners of lost items, to spotting people in need of emergency assistance and providing a swift response in such critical situations. The objective of this project was to develop a real-time audio tracking camera system that will monitor sounds from the environment and turn the camera in the direction of the identified target sound. The camera should then track the object as it moves, recording crucial footage throughout the tracking process. Primarily, the objective has been met, although there is still room for improvement.
