Technology has also been advancing rapidly these past few decades, producing smartphones able to take stunning photos/videos with superb quality even comparable to professional cameras. It is now common for people to rely on their smartphone to record memorable moments and share them onto their social media such as Instagram, Facebook and Twitter. Many users also tend to edit or filter their photos to get more beautiful photos before posting it onto their social media. Therefore, a photo editing application is becoming more and more popular. The objective of this project is to develop an image processing application called “ProSnap” on Android OS with image processing functionality, allowing users to be able to choose pictures from their gallery to edit and do wonders to the photos. Not only that but also to be able to capture photos using the built-in camera with filter effects directly before sharing them to social media. This application will be done utilizing with OpenCV libraries' functions.
