Summary:The purpose of this study was to examine the perceptions of teachers and students in a secondary school regarding the discipline in the school. The four topics of discipline studied were: the state of discipline in the school, the behaviour problems, the causes of these behaviour problems, what measures were effective in dealing with these problems. It also asked whether caning should be implemented in the school which did not carry out corporal punishment.
