Description
Summary:Universities provide students with the opportunities to groom themselves in all aspects and promote these activities through emails. Students also receive many academic notices and important announcements through their emails. These emails are all collected in the student’s inbox with them having to spend time to filter through them to decide which are important to them. In this project, an Android application, e3Assist, was created to help Nanyang Technological University’s School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering students improve their student life. This application does this by categorizing the information that they receive through the email platform. Through this, the application aims to allow students to be able to fully utilize and not miss information that is relevant to their academic growth as well as self-development in other aspects. The main feature of this application is a dashboard in which the students can view the emails under the categories that they wish to follow. It also acts as a platform in which students can also manage their time and involvement in events through a calendar.
