Description
Summary:The Light Eye Seeis a project that aims to shed a light on one’s relationship with light to change their perspective of reality. Following the concept of Sun + Eye = Perspective, my Final Year Project aims to allow content creators to have a hands-on interactive experience in shaping their versions of reality, to express their own interpretation of what that is, through mobile photography and videography –takingtheir mobile photography game to the next level. Just as the sun creates life and lights up our reality, my projectalsoaimsto be able to emulate that experience. The Light Eye See comes with a product design element, a series of camera lenses that are designed to be handheld tools to allow full customisation of usage and handling, putting the user in the driver seat. When light is passes through the acrylic pieces, they will be able to provide a visual distortion for users to add a different element to their photographic content. As the lenses are turned and twisted, the layers of acrylic and gems create complex reflections, so that the viewer becomes the protagonist of the lenses’ perspective narrative. As individuals, we are the main instrument and most important part of what constitutes of our reality. The projectallows oneto interpret many perspectives of reality as reality is all but an individual’s perspective.
