| Summary: | The report elaborates and explains the purpose and technicality in developing the price sharing and comparison mobile application named “WeSave”. WeSave started in August 2016 and its fourth development iteration has been completed by the final year project student in March 2020. WeSave was developed as a crowd-sourcing app to provide up to date information about supermarket products because supermarket products’ prices changed from time to time due to demand and supply reasons. Since WeSave is a crowd-sourcing app, it depends on information provided by users. This report explains the many considerations in developing WeSave in preparation to better serve the large community of users and sustain as a crowd-sourcing price sharing and comparison app in the rapidly changing technological landscape. |
