"Dreams – Bespoke for the soul" is a collection of sculptural garments which represent the lost and forgotten dreams of Asian youths, childhood dreams that are beautiful and pure yet broken and forgotten as they grow up. It is to raise the awareness of such subtle issue that has always been existing in Asian societies. As garments, they can now be embraced and help their owners to be comforted, encouraged, proud and accept themselves. The inspirations come from the interviewees' stories of Asian youths of various nationalities. By having the audience looking at the pieces, it is a hope that they can find a piece which resonates most closely and it may encourage them to reflect about themselves. It comforts the viewers that there are also other youths who suffer similar difficulties and no one is alone.
