Summary:Tangible consequences have been felt all over the world as climate change and global warming continue to accelerate at alarming speeds. It is the future of today’s youth that is at stake. However, many are not taking enough steps towards a more environmentally sustainable lifestyle. One of the most impactful ways to slow down the climate catastrophe is to discourage the production of foods that are environmentally inefficient and waste precious resources through lowering demand for these foods. The daunting scale of the climate crisis can induce apathy and helplessness at the individual level. With the focus that individual actions power large-scale solutions, this project aims to educate and encourage youth toward sustainable living via simple dietary adaptations.
