During the past many years, The chemical reactions over a moving plate of a boundary-layer has been studied quite frequently and extensively. It shows importance or significant meanings in many areas such as for lots of industrial problems. There are geothermal energy utilization, engineering aspects especially for chemical engineering. Therefore, the project scope will be search and review literature on boundary-layer flow and to get familiar with the situations of boundary-layer flow when a moving surface happened with chemical reaction. First of all, the author would like to make an assumption which means the reaction will occur on the surface of the plate only and followed by schematically represent the function according to the 1st order Arrhenius Kinetics. Followed by subjecting certain boundary conditions and introducing some new variables, so the author formed the equations in a set form, which are few partial differential equations. Related research about these equations will be discussed more in the report. After getting some understanding about the equations, a software called “MATLAB” would be introduced to apply for solving the series of equations. Basically steps are trying to form some numerical codes according to the simplest equations and after applying their corresponding boundary conditions, as series of results will be generated. In addition, the results will be generated and showed in graphically for ease of observation and analyzation. Before ending of the report, a conclusion included limitations and improvements would be discussed further in order to show the potential issues that maybe caused during the course of the project. During the past many years, The chemical reactions over a moving plate of a boundary-layer has been studied quite frequently and extensively. It shows importance or significant meanings in many areas such as for lots of industrial problems. There are geothermal energy utilization, engineering aspects especially for chemical engineering.
