It is the ability of the terrorists to make money through diverse methods and move them around the world using multiple, complex and discreet means to finance their activities that has made terrorism so threatening today. Tracking, intercepting and strangling the jlow of funds to the terrorists therefore is one of the most important fronts against terrorism. Understanding the dynamics of terrorist Jinancing is also useful for intelligence, law enforcement and security agencies to expose the perpetrators of terrorist acts using the so called ‘money trail. ’ |
