Rivalry approach to the democratic peace : the case study of the Soviet/Russian-Japanese Dyad.
In applying Democratic Peace to enduring rivalries between pairs of democracies, the theiss argues that democratization of a dyad in enduring rivalry changes the character of that rivalry.
