Summary:In the past two decades, the economic interaction within Chinese Economic Area (CEA), which consists of the Chinese mainland, Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan, has strongly proven that CEA has made enormous strides in the economic integration. It is inevitable for the CEA to achieve economic integration and emerge as an economic community like NAFTA or EU in the future, since it is by no means an illusion but a feasible project safely based on the sound foundations of theory and practice.
