《学生周报》创刊于 1956 年 7 月 27 日，是由友联出版社在亚洲基金会的幕 后资助下为新马华族中学生出版的刊物。它的前身为《中国学生周报(新马版)》。 《中国学生周报(新马版)》则是亚洲基金会在香港幕后资助出版《中国学生周报》 后，为协助该刊物扩大在东南亚地区的传播而在新马地区推出的本地版。《学生周 报》在内容上添加许多新马本地色彩的同时，也保留了《中国学生周报》对自由世 界思想的推广，亚洲基金会也资助出版社为新马华族青年定制了一系列项目与活动， 争取让华裔学生脱离共产主义阵营为最终目标。因此，《学生周报》与其衍生项目 可视为冷战时期美国在东南亚对抗共产主义的文化武器。本文将使用史丹福...
