Description
Summary:Both Augmented Reality (AR) applications and drones have increased in popularity over the last few years. This project aims to develop a game which integrates drone and AR technologies that does the following: provide players a platform to master drone flight, introduce them drone delivery systems and train them in quick and precise decision making. This report covers game design ideas and considerations taken throughout development. This encompasses the game objectives, game map, gameplay flow, user interface design and assets used. Additionally, it shows the implementation of these ideas into Unity 3D code. This includes the integration of drone networking and Unity as well as the scripts involved for the game. However, due to software limitations, integrating the drone camera with Unity is currently not possible. Hence, the game developed did not reach its full potential but does still create a game environment for its players.
