For most of the freshman who just enter university, there are many struggles to make a smooth transition into this new and exciting education journey, especially so during the current COVID-19 pandemic. Furthermore, with more surveys and studies showcase that how a pleasant and healthy transition into university positively affect the freshmen, like acquiring essential information, building friendship and receiving senior’s and school mentor’s guidance, the proposal of this project comes to light and hope to do just that to help the future batch of EEE students to transit into university lifestyle with ease. An intuitive android-based mobile application, FreshEEE, which can enhance the experience of EEE freshmen for their transition to university life during COVID-19 is developed and its development ideation and process is documented in this report. The mobile application will include with various useful functions, enabling the freshmen to have all the essential information in the palm of their hands, thus reducing many unnecessary confusions.
