The process of students entering a new education environment is always the most tedious
process, but entering a University is an even more major transition as compared to most past
education period. Everything will be seemed more fast-paced as compared to their previous
education academic period, which they may find that they are facing stress and anxiety.
To address the problem above, this project aims to implement a Progressive Web Application
(PWA) aims to helps new student in enhancing their experience for their transition to
University life by providing them various information such as EEE orientation information,
EEE student bodies and mentor-mentee portal. This will allow them to have most of the
essential information in the palm of their hands, without having to keep look around on
internet for information.
To improve the convenience and user friendliness of this web application, it is developed as a
Progressive Web Application (PWA) and Responsive Web Design (RWD) will be
implemented. Allowing the web application to be installed on most devices’ screens without
needing to download any program and retaining its content by just altering the page layout
according to devices’ screen size. User Interface (UI)/User Experience (UX) concepts will be
integrated into the web application to enhance user’s experience of using the web application,
which allows them to easily navigate through the application.
This report would elaborate more about the features of the application and technology used to
design the Front-End of the Progressive Web Application. |
