刘宗周是晚明大儒, 其学说以慎独为宗旨◦现今对刘宗周思想的研究, 以哲学分析为主, 对其思想整体的探讨并不全面, 对思想概念在实践上的意涵也缺乏探讨◦本论文探讨刘宗周慎独之学, 对刘宗周文本进行诠释, 对其概念结构进行探讨, 试图使其看似复杂晦涩的思想面貌得以澄清◦论文分为八章◦第一章为绪论,检讨刘宗周研究概况, 以此为基础, 从而设定本论文研究进路◦第二章为慎独之学的形成与发展, 探述刘宗周慎独之学的三个阶段◦第三章讨论 “独体” 作为本体总汇的诸多意义◦第四章论述 “慎独” 作为工夫总汇的各项细节, 以《人谱》为主要文本◦第五章为慎独之学的道统传承, 涉及《圣学宗要》、《五子连珠》、《孔孟合璧》等文本◦第六章为慎独之学的《易》学建构, 论证刘宗周《人极图说》、《易衍》乃是仿自周敦颐二文◦第七章分析刘宗周如何以慎独之学批判王明及其后学◦第八章为结论◦此外, 有附录二则, 分别为刘宗周著述年表及其著述概略◦整体而言, 本论文从各不同角度探讨刘宗周的慎独之学 ◦ Liu Zongzhou was one of the most important Confucians in the Ming Dynasty. This thesis explores Liu’s Learning of Vigilant Solitude, interpreting his various texts, investigating his complicated concepts, for the aim of demonstrating a clear and distinct description of Liu’s theory. This thesis consists of eight chapters. Chapter One examines the updated study of Liu’s thoughts. Chapter Two introduces the developments of Liu’s concept on Vigilant Solitude. Chapter Three and Four discuss the details of Vigilant Solitude. Chapter Five and Six analyze his five important texts. Chapter Seven shows the way how Liu’s theory acts as the critique of the School of Wang Yangming and his disciples. Chapter Eight is the conclusion. In general, this thesis uncovers Liu’s Vigilant Solitude from different perspectives, offering a more complete understanding on this topic.
