Yet, these are not just stories about the trials and tribulations of Singaporeans, but also how they have managed to find a silver lining despite their predicaments. That even in the most dire of situations, they have found ways to survive, and in some cases, thrive by learning new skills to leave their ailing sectors, by having the guts to try new ventures even in uncertainty or simply by persevering in trying to find new sources of income, even if they are temporary.
