Description
Summary:Smart materials have been studied intensively to discover their underlying potential to modern applications. One of the smart materials, fluorescent polymers, is a material with emerging applications in the market. It is a functional macromolecule that have ultralong organic phosphorescence (UOP). Ultralong organic phosphorescence is a smart phenomenon with immense amount of important biomedical technologies applications such as smart polymer machine, fluorescent probe, fluorescent chemosensor, fluorescent imaging and drug delivery carrier. In this report, a naphthalene based fluorescent polymer, PNA, was studied with external stimuli such as high pressure and low temperature, and different excitation sources such as UV light and Blue Laser that explored the functions of the polymer. The new discoveries of the function in this report can lead to greater findings for the applications in the future.
