Description
Summary:Transparent conductors have been extensively researched to replace the widely used ITO (Indium Tin Oxide) due to its scarcity and its brittleness for electrochromic devices. The challenge has caused researchers to look for alternative materials such as AgNW. AgNW has interesting properties but remained a challenge in a trade-off between electrical and optical performance. In this paper, a three-step spray-assembly made of hybrid composites of PEDOT:PSS/AgNW/MXene is fabricated. A sheet resistance of 13.6 ohm/sq with 69% transmittance had obtained. Flexure test was performed on the composites through mechanical bending. In comparison to ITO, the hybrid film maintained a stable resistance during flexure. PEDOT:PSS operated as an electrochromic layer for color transition during applied potential.
