Description
Summary:This project explores the possibility of using computer vision to help stroke patients with finger and hand motion rehabilitation exercises. Through this project, interesting mobile games were created and users will be playing these games through interacting with tangible objects. A user study was conducted to determine if the application will motivate users to continue exercising while using the application. Participants of the studies were asked to play the two games found in the application and answer a few questions related to the game. Results of the studies show that both games in the application are motivating for users to continue exercising. This project was developed on an Android platform, with an Android version API level of 27. OpenCV library is used for colour tracking and the animation library is used for the gamification of the application.
