For background information, a short literature review will precede our discussion. It represents the gist of what we have researched on, and how we have applied it to the production of our video. Following this, we will proceed to discuss our concept, approach and style as an overview to our video. This discussion will attempt to give a comprehensive insight into our concept of a hybrid programme, the approach we took to bring about this fusion of a documentary style programme and a music video, and the style which characterises our video. Specific references to the video will further substantiate and illustrate this discussion. Significant influences and resources which had a direct bearing on our video will also be highlighted. Beyond this, the entire production process will be traced. In particular, we will discuss the problems encountered and subsequent resolutions of these problems. As an experiment, the real test of our hybrid programme rests on its reception by its target audience. Hence, we conducted a preview- cum- discussion session with twenty individuals. The valuable feed back from this sample audience will be discussed towards the end of this report. Evaluation of our entire video and suggestions for future research conclude this discussion.
