These possibilities attracted many researchers to explore possible 2D ferromagnets to achieve Tc at room temperature and ambient stability. In this study, synthesis of Fe5GeTe2 has been done, and RMCD characterization revealed it to have a Tc of 260 K. Therefore, Fe5GeTe2 was alloyed with Copper (II) Chloride and synthesized Fe5CuGeTe2 via the Chemical Vapor Deposition approach. The alloyed Fe5CuGeTe2 has excellent room temperature stability. Additionally, controlled CVD synthesis and optimization reactions of FeTe2 reveal high quality and crystallization.
