Cognitive functions are impaired in various stages of severity. These impairments can range from memory, behaviour, motor functions, language. Etc. Dementia patients face various challenges in their daily lives. Dementia patients require different levels of care according to their severity of cognitive impairment. Family members and guardians may not possess the necessary medical skills and training to help mitigate and reduce the progression of cognitive impairment. To allow efficient and successful mitigation of dementia for the patients, professionals and trained caregivers are required to monitor and provide effective care management to the patients along with caring for the welfare of the patient’s daily needs. The Person-centered CARs (PEAR) application developed will aid the professionals and caregivers to provide improved services for dementia patients. Throughout the course of this project, corrective maintenance, and modification were implemented to correct the functionalities of the application. As a result, the PEAR application is expected to fit the needs of the users and provide an enhanced user experience.
