The purpose of this report is to provide a detailed description of the process of producing this documentary entitled "Colorectal Cancer". This report will cover the three aspects of production: pre-production planning, production and post-production. Under pre-production planning, this report will outline the preliminary research that will provide the basis for this dccumentary. A synopsis and a production treatment will also be included to give an insight into the structure of the documentary. The aim of this documentary and its intended audience will be discussed in the light of the topic, colorectal cancer. The budget statement and the production schedule will give a rough estimation of the costs and time spent to produce this documentary. For post-production, this report will detail the step3 taken to prepare and execute the on- line edit and the final commentary script. Lastly, this report will ciiscuss the problems that have been encountered, as well the lessons learnt from producing this documentary.
