The purpose is to study a direct-sequence code-division multiple-access (DS-CDMA) system and simulate the system performance using MATLAB. Brief background information on digital information, noise, fading channels, spread spectrum communication system, and spreading code is explained in this report. Following that, simulation results and discussion are also presented. Finally, the student provides a conclusion that summarizes the project outcomes, observations, and what the student has learned from this final year project.
