Previous research has primarily relied on faster troubleshooting to reduce the downtime of the aircrafts and thus, unable to allow aircrafts to be operationally available during such unnecessary downtime for troubleshooting. This project used cheap and portable micro-controller (B-L475E-IOT01A) which will be attached to an aircraft and obtain health parameters through Azure Cloud services while the aircraft is still operationally available. Analysation of such health parameters will then predict the time to hold maintenance services without affecting the operational availability of the aircrafts. This project was successful in programming B-L475E-IOT01A in STM32IDE to obtain and illustrate health parameters in Azure IoT Central for analysation. The flexibility of the program also allows the addition of features to enhance its ability to obtain health parameters.
