Description
Summary:This final year project focuses on using an interactive E-learning platform to teach mainly engineering students about the basics of Standing Wave Ratio. The E-learning platform will require plenty of interactive features for students to see, listen and practise while learning. Firstly, ATOM, a free and open-source text and source code editor, will be used to create and design an online web page using programming languages such as HTML, JavaScript and CSS. Next, Moodle, a free and open-source learning management system, will be used as it contains many plugins that can create interactive lessons, videos, and quizzes. The use of interactive features in Moodle will facilitate vivid visualization and comprehension of a hard to comprehend concept like standing wave ratio. The topic covered will be a consolidation of specific parameters related to the standing wave ratio. It will teach students the formulas and the meaning of the parameters and their relation to the standing wave ratio. This report will introduce the various software used to create the E-learning platforms and some step-by-step procedures on how the software is implemented to develop certain engaging features to entice students to learn about standing wave ratio.
