Description
Summary:Allocation of resources have always been a problem due to the scarcity of supply. Time, money, labor, tools, land, and raw materials are some of the different forms of resources that exist in limited numbers. Likewise, resource allocation problems are also seen in the current context of the Emergency Medical System. Allocation of limited resources – Ambulance, Driver and Medic, should not be the issue that hold back the operation of transporting patients from accident locations to hospitals. This report aims to provide more detailed information and solution on the allocation of resources in the Emergency Medical System. This Final Year Project includes software integration where the author aims to develop an Emergency Medical System mobile application. This mobile application would assist in the effective calculation and allocation of support to respective accident locations, while providing the best solution based on the level of severity of the patients at each location.
