Summary:DNA holds great potential for data storage. This potential is physically represented by the numerous companies that focuses on molecular data storage. Companies such as DNA Script, Evonetix and Helixworks. Essentially, research has shown that DNA has great capabilities in storing large amounts of data for long periods of time. However, there are certain problems that comes along with the process of molecular data storage. This report will focus on one such problem and attempt to use the Slidesort algorithm to solve the issue and increase the viability of molecular data storage.
