Implementation and control of a high voltage gain SEPIC converter for renewable energy applications
In this project, the design and implementation of the modified single-ended primary-inductor converter (SEPIC) and closed-loop controls are presented. Two closed-loop controls, Sliding Mode Control (SMC) and Adaptive Current Mode Control (AMC), are implemented. The controllers use both current and v...

Summary: | In this project, the design and implementation of the modified single-ended primary-inductor converter (SEPIC) and closed-loop controls are presented. Two closed-loop controls, Sliding Mode Control (SMC) and Adaptive Current Mode Control (AMC), are implemented. The controllers use both current and voltage feedback to operate.
Experiment results are presented to show the effectiveness of the controllers for the regulation of the controllers. A recommendation on which controller is better for the SEPIC is discussed in conclusion. |
