Description
Summary:This creative work is a report on the cinematography in the film Pillars of Salt. It serves to explain my intention and creative choices as a cinematographer from the pre-production stage all the way to the film’s final look (production and post-production). It is a showcase of my thought process through developing the film’s visual language, utilising key elements of cinematography such as camera movement, lighting and colours. The combination of these elements and working closely with my director, Hilman, helped me to bring to life the film’s underlying themes and messages.
