Description
Summary:This paper is the report for the final year report entitled ‘A Service-Free wireless sensor Application’. The purpose of this is to document the project ongoing progression and achievement currently. This report consists of 61 pages excluding the cover page, table of content, list of figures, abstract, appendices and reference. This project aims to create a low-cost and environmentally sustainable application for supplying low-powered devices such as microcontrollers and sensors using renewable energy. Wireless communication of the sensors between each other and a cloud server. Harvesting energy from the natural environment is readily accessible, making it more energy-efficient and lower in cost. Therefore, this project will discuss the different available harvesting techniques to develop a service-free wireless sensor application that can be ideally be deployed anywhere in the house.
