At last, the flow velocity is calculated and illustrated in an image and a matric view. There are two main methods of realizing the goals of calculating and interpreting the flow velocity. The first one is to employ image pre-processing methods in MATLAB for the mucus cross-sectional images to get a better imaging quality. The second one is to develop algorithm in Python to calculate the 2-dimensional velocity of the mucus flow.
