同安侨乡的教育捐赠与经济投资 ：海外华人案例研究 = Education donations and economic investments in Tongan as a Qiaoxiang : a case study of Chinese overseas

同安区从中国改革开放以来无论是经济、社会发展的速度都受到国内, 国外人士瞩目。历来，华侨华人在祖国、家乡捐资办学被看作是造福乡梓的善举。改革开放以后， 捐资办学得到进一步的扩展。身为福建省重要侨乡之一的同安区，教育事业资助的金额以及所捐赠的领域远超过改革前。经济方面，同安区在1995年被评为福建省“经济发展势力“十佳县”。而这当中离不开海外华侨华人历年来在当地的大量投资。本论文结合1995年到2005年《同声》乡刊资料和田野调查所收集到的其它资料进行分析。以两个方面为主: 一、华侨华人对同安区教育公益事业的捐赠，论述这十年来所起的变化。这包括尝试对于捐赠数额减少、捐赠的用途从以往大多用在修建校舍或是为学校增添教材转移到设立教育基金等方面。二、论析同安籍华侨华人及港澳台同胞的投资在同安社会经济发展中的作用，以及同安区政府所实施的一系列招商引资的手法如何促使外资增加。Since the inauguration of China’s economic reforms in 1978, the economic and social developments of Tongan qu have attracted domestic and foreign attention. It has long been viewed as a virtuous act for Chinese Overseas in mainland China to donate generously toward education in their homeland. This is evident in the case of Tongan qu, which is a district in Fujian, China, widely known to be one of the ancestral homelands of Chinese Overseas. In 1995, Tongan qu was recognized as one of the “Top Ten Economic Developing Forces” in the province of Fujian. This was the result of the large amount of investments injected into its economic sector by Chinese Overseas. This paper is based on information gathered from the archives of local publication “Tong Sheng” (Tongan Voices) (1995-2005) and field research carried out in Tongan qu. Explanations pertaining to the decreasing trend in contribution quantity and changes in purpose of contribution, from building of school infrastructure to educational foundations will be provided.
