Description
Summary:The freezing process of water droplets at room temperature while impacting a hydrophobic surface at low temperatures is being investigated experimentally in this paper. This paper reports the different phases of the impact from the first point of encounter with the surface by the water droplet to the final freezing morphology of the water droplet. The various freezing phenomena are explored, and explanations are proposed. The whole experiment process results are documented as images and figures to allow readers to be able to observe the actual findings. The results are then presented graphically, and regime maps are produced which may allow prediction of freezing behaviour in future scenarios.
