Theoretical study of the strengthening of high-entropy alloys by varying composition
This project presents a theoretical calculation on the strengthening of high-entropy alloys based on different elemental compositions to evaluate their mechanical properties against conventional alloys and pure metals. The strength of both equiatomic and non-equiatomic high-entropy alloys will also...

The strength of both equiatomic and non-equiatomic high-entropy alloys will also be compared in this final year project to determine the optimum alloy compositions which give the ideal mechanical properties. The strengthening parameters such as yield strength, flow stress, and ultimate tensile strength are derived from reliable theoretical models which will be needed to determine their relationship with different variables such as temperature, strain rate, and elemental composition. With all the calculated data and values, graphical representations are used to interpret the trend of results.
