The regulations were revised multiple times, but it still did not put a complete stop to the accidents. In this report, the safety issues of PMDs during riding and collisions will be investigated from different angles, regarding the probability as well as the severity of PMD accidents. Simultaneously, investigations will be conducted on the car and bicycle simulations to verify how similar simulations are to the actual driving and cycling. As such, these are the 4 aspects to be explored in the different experiments. The results showed that PMDs are still relatively prone to accidents as well as fatal injuries on the current available paths, and thus more is needed to be explored regarding its safety issues other than the regulations already in place. Additionally, the car and bicycle simulators showed a sufficient level of functionality and immersion, showing the potential for PMDs to be tested and used for in a similar fashion.
