| Summary: | Governments worldwide have increasingly looked at prioritising digital health to meet future social and health-related challenges. The Singapore government is therefore poised to become a digital health-ready nation given its considerable progress at incorporating digital health in key strategic infrastructural and societal reforms since the 1980s. Amid COVID-19, Singaporean digital health is set to ride on the wave of renewed public interest in online modes of healthcare. Given these trends, this paper seeks to study e-health readiness and digital health progress in Singapore by looking at public sentiment, degree of government support and the quality and availability of digital health services to the public. Policy implications and factors affecting digital health progress are also discussed to provide insights in policy decision-making. |
