Description
Summary:In this contemporary world, heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems have played an important role for improving the human comfort. Recently, the necessity of indoor air quality criteria has attracted numerous researchers for developing method to determine the standard for occupants’ satisfaction, and for long Co2 indoor concentration has been chosen to be one of the vital criteria. This dissertation is focused on developing a method to control indoor temperature as well as maintain the Co2 concentration in a suitable range. The proposed control algorithm has been implemented and verified by using TNRSYS application for developing a simulation system for single zone with occupant plant in one single week. The weather file of TRNSYS in Boston, America, will be used to simulate the outdoor weather. The 3 different control scenarios will be discussed in this dissertation to demonstrate the effectiveness of the suggested method. The summary and proposed future works will also be included in this dissertation for future development to produce a better system.
