The number of people using mobile phones and personal computers are growing exponentially and it's now a norm to own multiple devices. Younger generations are the main contributors to the increasing usage of digital devices. Compared to the past where students had to rely on textbooks and guidebooks, the internet is now the main source of information. Digital devices opened a whole new path of learning through innovation and technology. By expanding the four walls of the classroom, it has enabled students to gather information and resources from all over the world through the internet. This report aims to demonstrate the vast opportunities the leap motion controller can provide to users of all ages and abilities. By creating a program with the Unity3D game engine and using the Leap Motion controller to capture hand movements which allows the user to interact with software-based virtual models. It will further enhance the usage and purpose of the way we interact with digital systems in the future.
