Description
Summary:Time waits for no one, every second that is saved could be used to make other aspects of ones’ life better. Car owners would pre-plan their route from their location to their destination and only to find out later on that there is no car park space available to park their car, one would then source a nearby alternative car park or to circle around the car park to find an available car park space. During this process, precious time and resources is being wasted and only if one had access to a higher level of information beforehand to make a better judgement of the availability of the car park would make life so much easier. With having a smart phones being a norm and used as a navigational aid nowadays, this project aims to utilize it as a tool to conquer the above societal problem. This project aims to solve this problem by developing a mobile application to supply car owners with valuable information regarding their destination car park. The implementation also includes connecting two types of car owners, those that are looking for car park space and those that already secured a car park space by providing them with a place to ask and chat around other car owners about the situation of the car park. This gives them a platform to interact with each other drivers and maybe other car owners have their parking space perhaps in exchange with a small amount of cash.
