Due to Singaporean busy work life, many had also started purchasing their groceries online and opt for delivery to their house. During the Covid-19 pandemic period, society is in a panic state as it is 10 times more deadly than the seasonal flu and spread very easily. There were circuit breaker measurements implemented by the government. Many households in Singaporeans had turned to purchase their daily necessities online. This had resulted in the logistics industry booming and there is a drastic increase in the number of daily deliveries. Without preparations to be made, the industry had lack of manpower and the efficiency of the deliveries had also decreased. At the same time, more people are moving into the logistics industry. As there are many new startups of a logistics company in Singapore, they do not have big capital to hire much manpower or purchase a big system that is costly to manage their efficiency and data management. Thus, this industry still lacks a ‘one stop’ solution that allows them to operate their workflow with a system, manage their data and deliveries efficiently. Hence, creating an affordable website solution for the logistics industry provides reliability to the consumer with a real-time tracking system, a friendly user interface to use its service, and allows the personnel to manage daily operations and data efficiently. At the same time, delivery drivers can update delivery status in real-time providing reliability in services provided.
