谈时事剧 ：《鸣凤记》和《清忠谱》的忠臣形象 = A study of the image of loyal official in the current-affairs dramas Ming Feng Ji and Qing Zhong Pu

明传奇是继元杂剧以后中国戏剧的另一次发展高峰。在这时期，中国剧坛出现了非常多有名的传奇，例如汤显祖的“临川四梦”、《浣纱记》、《宝剑记》、《义侠记》等等。本论文将以两部明清时期有名的时事剧作为研究对象，它们分别是王世贞的《鸣凤记》和李玉的《清忠谱》。明末时期有很多描写社会与政治的传奇。这些传奇大都取材于现实的生活环境，它们不仅批评当时的政治，同时也表现了忠奸斗争的主题。笔者首先将会探讨明代时事剧产生的社会背景，然后剖析这两出时事剧作者的社会地位与故事内容。由于这两部戏剧主要是在描述忠奸的斗争，所以，我会选择戏里触及“忠臣”的部分来进行深一步地探讨，来看他们当时对国家、皇帝和家庭的态度。此外，两部传奇不约而同都有几出描写梦的情节，本论文将会分析、比较这些梦境，从中归纳作者写梦的目的，并通过对梦的分析了解剧中人物的性格。最后，时事剧除了具有保存历史资料的功能，它还有道德教化、信息传播和总结历史经验的价值和作用。After the flourish of Zaju during the Yuan period, Ming Chuanqi reaches another peak in the course of the development of Chinese traditional drama. During this period, there were many important Ming Chuanqi literatures for example Four Dreams of Linchuan by Tang Xianzu, as well as Huan Sha Ji, Bao Jian Ji, and Yi Xia Ji. This thesis will look into two important Ming Current-Affairs Dramas, namely Ming Feng Ji by Wang Shizhen and Qing Zhong Pu by Li Yu. During the late Ming Dynasty, there were many Ming Chuanqi literatures portraying the contemporary societal and political development. A majority of these literatures contain elements drawn from reality. Not only did they display political criticisms, the struggles between the good and the evil forces were also part of the themes. I will first analyze the social background of the two selected Chuanqi, followed by a detailed introduction of the background of the Chuanqi writers and story plots. As these two Chuanqi emphasize the struggles between the good and evil forces, therefore, an in-depth analysis of the “loyal official” in the play will be provided to reveal the attitude of these officials towards their country, the leaders and their families. Besides, both of the Chuanqi operas appear to contain anecdotes on dreams. This thesis will analyze and compare these dreams as a way to reveal the purpose of the Chuanqi writers in their descriptions on dreams. Finally, I will discuss how Current-Affairs Drama has preserved historical knowledge, served as a moral guidance to the people and disseminated information during the course of historical development.
