Summary: | As mobile phone becomes one of the main mediums of communication and entertainment through the COVID-19 pandemic, it has then become increasingly distracting to users through the years and may slow down users work and tasks at hand. Furthermore, with an increase in companies turning their job location to be from home, it may cause mobile phones to be more distracting without the physical presence of other working partners to encourage one to stay focused.
The objective of this project is to create a mobile application that makes task completion less daunting, and more motivational during the pandemic and even after when people might still potentially be distracted by their mobile phones.
The application is built for the Android, using Flutter for its frontend and firebase for the backend. Most of the application use will be using programming language dart and Go, but elements of Java and Bootstrap will be involved too. The application, Re:Juvenate aims to make completion of task more inviting and less daunting especially with the work-from-home situation in the midst of the pandemic. This work will explore the successes and failures of existing task management application, and attempt to combine, and modify their features while
implementing additional features. |
