It proposed a framework which consisted of these parameters: ease, usefulness, goals, satisfaction, effect, learnability, learner, experiences and utility, to find out how concept maps can facilitate information discovery. The methodology employed in the study was a two-fold approach: quantitative-cum-qualitative. The results reveal that while concept maps are generally accepted as useful information finding tools, there are still many areas for improvement. The functional design of a concept map would need some enhancement and its’ corresponding content quality also needs to be constantly updated to attract mass usage.
