This project brings visual communication into the field of healthcare through its application in pictograms and diagrams. The elderly often experience falls which can be prevented through more effective and accessible health education. The project brought into fruition a pictorial guide to fall prevention, whose content is entirely illustrated through pictograms. This approach hopes to cut through typical but little-addressed language and literacy barriers in healthcare communication. The current guide focuses on the area of fall prevention in the home. The project can be extended into the other aspects, aided through collaboration with relevant institutions.
